In Tuesday's league contest, the West Vigo Vikings (West Terre Haute, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN), by a margin of 13-4.
With the triumph, West Vigo moves its record to 10-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Sullivan (Sullivan, IN) to play the Golden Arrows in a Western Indiana contest on Wednesday, May 3. The Golden Arrows come into the contest with a record of 14-2. Sullivan won 8-5 in their recent league contest against Northview (Brazil, IN)
In their next game, the Eagles play the South Putnam Eagles (Greencastle, IN) in a Western Indiana contest, on Wednesday, May 3. Brown County will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record.
