New York High School Softball - Tri-Valley nudges Chester

Tri-Valley Bears (Grahamsville, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chester Hambletonians (Chester, NY), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chapel Field Christian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. Tri-Valley will face a Lions squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, NY). The Lions record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Chester falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Hambletonians host Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
