Washington High School Softball - Kelso bounces R.A. Long

Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting R.A. Long Lumberjacks (Longview, WA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Hilanders now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Battle Ground for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Kelso will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 15-6 league win over Camas (Camas, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-3.
In their next game, the Lumberjacks clash with the Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens game, on Friday, May 5. R.A. Long will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Monarchs come into the game with a 7-3 record after their 13-1 league win over Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA).
