The Miners now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Barr-Reeve for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 3. Linton-Stockton will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Bedford North Lawrence (Bedford, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Shakamak falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Lakers host South Vermillion (Clinton, IN) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. South Vermillion won 15-5 in their recent league challenge against Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN)
