Mohonasen Warriors (Schenectady, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany Academy for Girls for a Section 2 Colonial challenge on Thursday, May 4. Mohonasen will face a Bears squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Niskayuna falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Silver warriors host Schenectady (Schenectady, NY) to face the Patriots in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, May 3. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-8. Schenectady lost 20-1 in their recent league challenge against Albany (Albany, NY)
