In Thursday's non-league game, the host Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Heyworth Hornets.
The Bulldogs (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Greenwave go into the Apollo game with a 14-12 record. In their last game, Mattoon ran past Rantoul (Rantoul, IL), 5-0, in a non-league game.
