Ohio High School Baseball - McKinley sneaks past Mineral Ridge

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the McKinley Red Dragons (Niles, OH) and the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH), saw McKinley's baseball squad edge Mineral Ridge by a count of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Red Dragons play the Hubbard Eagles (Hubbard, OH) in a Northeast 8 Athletic battle, on Monday, May 6. McKinley will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 13-10 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Conneaut (Conneaut, OH).

The Rams now possess a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Springfield for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet battle on Friday, May 3. Mineral Ridge will play a Tigers squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Girard (Girard, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
