Northview Knights (Brazil, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Plainfield Quakers (Plainfield, IN), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Northview upgrades its record to 10-7 on the season. The Knights travel to South Putnam (Greencastle, IN) to battle the Eagles in a Western Indiana test on Tuesday, May 7. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-10. South Putnam won 9-7 in their recent league test against Owen Valley (Spencer, IN)

With the defeat, Plainfield falls to 9-7 on the season. The Quakers travel to Ben Davis (Indianapolis, IN) to battle the Giants in a non-league test on Monday, May 6. The Giants come into the test with a record of 8-9. Ben Davis lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN)
