In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Wethersfield/Annawan Titans baseball team scored a nice 10-2 victory over the Peoria Heights Patriots.
The Titans (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Princes go into the Lincoln Trail game with a 10-13 record. In their last game, Princeville overcame Farmington (Farmington, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
The Patriots (5-15) will now prepare for their game against Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL). The Rebels go into the Prairieland game with a 1-16 record. In their last game, Astoria/VIT was overwhelmed by Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL), 14-0, in a non-league game.
