With the win, West Allegheny upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Indians travel to South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Friday, May 3. The Lions come into the test with a record of 9-7. South Fayette won 7-5 in their recent league test against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA)

With the defeat, Union Area falls to 11-3 on the season. The Scotties host Springdale (Springdale, PA) to battle the Dynamos in a WPIAL 1A 2 test on Monday, May 6. The Dynamos come into the test with a record of 5-6. Springdale won 16-0 in their recent non-league test against Summit Academy (Herman, PA)
