The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) and the visiting Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), saw Pomperaug's lacrosse team nudge Amity Regional by a margin of 15-14.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers enter the South West challenge with a 1-5 record.
The Spartans (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Red Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record.
