Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Greensburg Salem Golden Lions (Greensburg, PA), 17-7 in a non-league battle.

The Yellowjackets now own a 1-6 record.

In their next game, the Golden Lions clash with the Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 battle, on Monday, May 6. Greensburg Salem will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 13-10 league loss to Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA).
