Next, the Cavaliers confront the Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina 4A challenge, on Friday, May 3. Cuthbertson will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 5-0 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).

The Pumas now possess a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a So Meck 4A challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Palisades will confront a Knights team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 18-5.
