Tandem Friends Badgers (Charlottesville, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Badgers confront the Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets (Front Royal, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Tandem Friends will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).

The Mavericks now have a 4-6 record.
