The Hickory Hawks softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Western Branch Bruins to 2 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hickory moves its record to 10-0 on the year. The Hawks travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Thursday, May 9. The Grizzlies come into the game with a record of 3-2.

In their next game, the Bruins clash with the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 9. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record.
