The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) and the host Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA), saw Nooksack Valley's softball squad achieve victory over Squalicum by a count of 21-7.

The Pioneers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a non-league match on Monday, May 6. Nooksack Valley will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Squalicum falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Storm host Lynden (Lynden, WA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 8. The Lions enter the match with a record of 2-3. Lynden lost 10-7 in their recent non-league match against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)
