Illinois High School Lacrosse - Vernon Hills drops to New Trier

May 2, 2024: Winnetka, IL 60093

In Thursday's league test, the host New Trier Trevians lacrosse squad scored a good 12-2 victory over the Vernon Hills Cougars.

The Trevians now have a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Benet Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. New Trier will face a Redwings squad coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL). The Redwings record now stands at 9-5.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, May 4. Vernon Hills will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a 4-9 record after their 19-4 league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL).
