Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Saxons now possess a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Spokane for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Saturday, May 4. Ferris will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Kennewick (Kennewick, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-2.
