Next, the Hawks confront the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Hickory will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 7-0 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).

The Bruins now possess a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Western Branch will confront a Tigers team coming off a 9-0 league win over Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-4.
