The Doane Academy the visiting Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers softball squad by a final score of 12-8 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Florence Township Memorial (Florence, NJ). The Flashes go into the BCSL - Patriot battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Florence Township Memorial was routed by Holy Cross (Delran, NJ), 5-1, in a league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Boonton for a NJAC - Independence battle on Saturday, May 4.
