The Stanwood Spartans routed the visiting Arlington Eagles softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Thursday's league battle.

The Spartans (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA). The go into the 2A/3A Wesco battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Marysville Getchell notched a victory over Shorecrest (Seattle, WA), 16-1, in a league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Cedarcrest for a 2A/3A Wesco battle on Friday, May 3. Arlington will meet a Red Wolves squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, WA). The Red Wolves record now stands at 11-7.
