Moniteau Warriors (West Sunbury, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Clarion-Limestone Lions (Strattanville, PA), 16-6 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Castle for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Moniteau will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 14-10 non-league win over Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Clarion-Limestone falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Oil City (Oil City, PA) to battle the Oilers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Oilers enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Oil City lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Sharon (Sharon, PA)
