Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Continental Pirates (Continental, OH) and the visiting Perry Commodores (Lima, OH), witnessed Continental's softball squad tip Perry by a count of 5-4.

The Pirates now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Crestview for a non-league match on Monday, May 6. Continental will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-4 league loss to Ada (Ada, OH). The Knights record now stands at 7-12.

With the loss, Perry moves to 4-13 on the season. The Commodores travel to Allen East (Harrod, OH) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 7-12. Allen East won 16-2 in their recent league match against Spencerville (Spencerville, OH)
