New York High School Softball - Duanesburg falls to Schalmont

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Schalmont Sabres softball team scored a nice 17-1 win over the Duanesburg Eagles.
Coming up next, the Sabres battle the Ichabod Crane Riders (Valatie, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial outing, on Friday, May 3. Schalmont will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Riders enter the outing with a 14-0 record after their 10-4 league win over Cohoes (Cohoes, NY).
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Galway (Galway, NY). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Galway ran past Fort Plain (Fort Plain, NY), 10-0, in a league outing.
