In Thursday's league contest, the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Great Bridge moves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Hornets in a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, May 7. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 11-3. Deep Creek lost 1-0 in their recent league contest against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 6. King's Fork will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record.
