The Hancock County Hornets softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Tell City Marksmen to 2 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hancock County improves its record to 17-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 13-6. Muhlenberg County won 8-0 in their recent league game against Ohio County (Hartford, KY)

In their next game, the Marksmen clash with the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN) in a Pocket game, on Saturday, May 4. Tell City will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 10-7 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Vincennes Lincoln (Vincennes, IN).
