California High School Softball - Hawthorne Math & Science Academy bounces Valley Christian Academy

The Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators (Hawthorne, CA) softball routed the visiting Valley Christian Academy Lions (Santa Maria, CA), 9-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The The Aviators (12-2) will now prepare for their bout against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA). The Patriots go into the non-league bout with a 22-5 record. In their last bout, Oxford Academy held off Notre Dame (Riverside, CA), 19-4, in a non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 4-8 record.
