The Pana Panthers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Hillsboro Hiltoppers to 2 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Pana improves its record to 18-7 on the year. The Panthers travel to North Mac (Virden, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a South Central game on Saturday, May 4. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 12-10. North Mac won 21-1 in their recent non-league game against Riverton (Riverton, IL)

In their next game, the Hiltoppers clash with the Gillespie Miners (Gillespie, IL) in a South Central game, on Friday, May 3. Hillsboro will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Miners come into the game with a 22-4 record after their 10-0 league win over North Mac (Virden, IL).
