West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Shirley for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. West Side will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR). The Blue Devils record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Marked Tree falls to 12-10 on the campaign.
