The Nooksack Valley Pioneers softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Squalicum Storm to 5 in the Pioneers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Nooksack Valley moves its record to 6-10 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Coupeville (Coupeville, WA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Friday, May 3. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 11-4. Coupeville won 14-0 in their recent league game against LaConner (LaConner, WA)

In their next game, the Storm clash with the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game, on Friday, May 3. Squalicum will attempt to move on its 0-12 season record. The Bayhawks come into the game with a 0-18 record after their 13-3 league loss to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA).
