Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Wickliffe Blue Devils (Wickliffe, OH), 13-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now sport a 17-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeside for a Chagrin Valley - Lake challenge on Friday, May 10.

With the loss, Wickliffe falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to face the Bombers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. The Bombers enter the challenge with a record of 11-12. Kenston lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against South (Willoughby, OH)
