The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the host Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), saw Sherwood's softball squad achieve victory over Wheaton by a count of 13-0.

The Warriors now sport a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca Valley for a Montgomery County 4A - West match on Monday, May 6.

With the loss, Wheaton falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to face the Screamin' Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, May 4. The Screamin' Eagles enter the match with a record of 6-5.
