Southridge Raiders (Huntingburg, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Knox for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3. Southridge will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to North Daviess (Elnora, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Wood Memorial falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Trojans host Perry Central (Leopold, IN) to battle the Commodores in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Commodores enter the challenge with a record of 11-8.
