The Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY) baseball trounced the visiting Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY), 13-3 in Friday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bolton Central for a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge on Monday, May 5. Schroon Lake will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 league win over Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Boquet Valley drops to 0-4 on the year. The Griffins travel to Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY) to clash with the Bombers in a Section 7 Mountain Valley challenge on Monday, May 12. The Bombers go into the challenge with a record of 4-2.
