Maryland High School Baseball - Mergenthaler Vo-Tech holds off Carver Vo-Tech

In Friday's league game, the host Mergenthaler Vo-Tech Mustangs baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Carver Vo-Tech Bears.
The Mustangs (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Forest Park (Baltimore, MD). The Foresters go into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Forest Park was overwhelmed by Dunbar (Baltimore, MD), 16-10, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bears play the Carver A&T Wildcats (Towson, MD) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 3. Carver Vo-Tech will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 7-6 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Owings Mills (Owings Mills, MD).
