The Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) baseball got by the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), 13-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Urbana for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Catoctin will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Linganore (Frederick, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 16-3.
With the defeat, South Carroll drops to 6-9 on the year. The Cavaliers host Old Mill (Millersville, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Old Mill won 8-7 in their recent league challenge against North County (Glen Burnie, MD)
