The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH) and the visiting Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH), saw Northeastern's baseball team get by Cedarville by a tally of 5-4.

The Jets (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Rams enter the Ohio Heritage South battle with a 9-4 record. In their last battle, Greeneview held off Greenon (Springfield, OH), 11-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Cedarville drops to 8-6 on the year. The Indians host West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a Ohio Heritage North challenge on Monday, May 5. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 10-4. West Liberty-Salem lost 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Versailles (Versailles, OH)
