The Edison Chargers baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Crestview Cougars to 1 in the Chargers non-league win on Friday.

The Chargers now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huron for a Sandusky Bay - Bay test on Tuesday, May 6.

With the defeat, Crestview drops to 6-11 on the year. The Cougars host Plymouth (Plymouth, OH) to clash with the Big Red in a Firelands test on Monday, May 5. The Big Red go into the test with a record of 8-7. Plymouth lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH)
