Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Phillipsburg edges Easton Area

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Phillipsburg Stateliners baseball team scored a close 9-6 win over the Easton Area Rovers.
The Stateliners (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Terriers go into the Skyland - Valley game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, Delaware Valley by The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ), 9-5, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rovers play the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles (Nazareth, PA) in a Eastern Penn - Steel game, on Monday, May 5. Easton Area will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Blue Eagles go into the game with a 14-5 record after their 12-3 non-league win over Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA).
