The Eaton Rapids Greyhounds baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Springport Spartans to 2 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Friday.
The Greyhounds now hold a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Olivet for a Capital Area - White test on Tuesday, May 6. Eaton Rapids will play a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
With the defeat, Springport drops to 6-2 on the year. The Spartans host Bronson (Bronson, MI) to play the Vikings in a Big 8 test on Tuesday, May 6. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 5-3.
