The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) and the host Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), saw Oak Park-River Forest's baseball team get by Fenwick by a tally of 9-8.
The Huskies (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Downers Grove South held off Leyden (Franklin Park, IL), 8-6, in a league battle.
Next, the Friars face the Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL) in a Chicago Catholic - White battle, on Saturday, May 3. Fenwick will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Cadets enter the battle with a 13-9 record after their 8-6 league loss to Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
