The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA) and the visiting Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA), saw Freedom's baseball team beat Southern Lehigh by a margin of 16-4.

The Patriots (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Hurricanes enter the Eastern Penn - Steel battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Liberty defeated Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA), 4-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans face the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) in a Colonial battle, on Saturday, May 3. Southern Lehigh will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Green Knights enter the battle with a 9-6 record after their 9-3 league win over Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA).
