The Hilbert Wolves baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers to 3 in the Wolves non-league win on Friday.
The Wolves now hold a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brillion for a non-league test on Saturday, May 3. Hilbert will play a Lions team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Valders (Valders, WI). The Lions record now stands at 4-5.
With the defeat, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran drops to 0-3 on the year. The Blazers travel to Manitowoc Lutheran (Manitowoc, WI) to play the Lancers in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 7. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 3-5.
