The Hazen Bison baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Surrey Mustangs to 2 in the Bison non-league win on Friday.

The Bison now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Hettinger/Scranton/New England for a Class B - Region VIII test on Tuesday, May 6. Hazen will play a Night Hawks team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND). The Night Hawks record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Surrey drops to 3-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to South Prairie/Max (Minot, ND) to play the in a Class B - Region VI test on Tuesday, May 6. The go into the test with a record of 0-8. South Prairie/Max lost 16-1 in their recent non-league test against Garrison (Garrison, ND)
