In Friday's non-league game, the host Holden Eagles baseball team scored a close 10-7 win over the Lawson Cardinals.
The Eagles (12-6) will now prepare for their game against Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 15-13 record. In their last game, Warrensburg nudged Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO), 4-3, in a non-league game.
