In Friday's non-league bout, the Kirkwood Pioneers (Kirkwood, MO) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO), by a tally of 13-0.
Next up, the Pioneers encounter the Oakville Tigers (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. Kirkwood will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 10-6 record after their 7-1 league win over Northwest (Cedar Hill, MO).
The Statesmen (8-17) will now prepare for their bout against Lafayette (Wildwood, MO). The Lancers enter the non-league bout with a 11-9 record. In their last bout, Lafayette overcame Parkway West (Ballwin, MO), 10-1, in a non-league bout.
