The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) and the host Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO), saw Pleasant Hill's baseball team get by Lafayette County by a tally of 2-1.
The Roosters/Chicks (10-10) will now prepare for their battle against Camdenton (Camdenton, MO). The Lakers enter the non-league battle with a 10-12 record. In their last battle, Camdenton was tipped by Smith-Cotton (Sedalia, MO), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Huskers face the Lathrop Mules (Lathrop, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 5. Lafayette County will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record.
