In Friday's non-league game, the host Oconomowoc Raccoons baseball team scored a close 9-6 victory over the Madison West Regents.
The Raccoons (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI). The Lasers enter the Classic Eight game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Kettle Moraine held off Waukesha South (Waukesha, WI), 9-1, in a league game.
Next, the Regents face the Oregon Panthers (Oregon, WI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 5. Madison West will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 8-6 record after their 7-6 league win over Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI).
