The Zimmerman Thunder baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Milaca Wolves to 2 in the Thunder non-league win on Friday.

The Thunder now own a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis for a Mississippi 8 test on Monday, May 5. Zimmerman will play a Fighting Saints team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Milaca drops to 1-10 on the year. The Wolves host St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN) to play the Crusaders in a Granite Ridge test on Tuesday, May 6. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 13-3. St. Cloud Cathedral lost 10-3 in their recent non-league test against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)
