In Friday's non-league game, the host Murray County Central Rebels baseball team scored a close 16-9 win over the Minneota Vikings.
The Rebels (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Knights go into the Red Rock game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton nudged Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN), 10-5, in a league game.
Next, the Vikings play the Yellow Medicine East Sting (Granite Falls, MN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 6. Minneota will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Sting go into the game with a 7-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Ortonville (Ortonville, MN).
